City Shopper App

Who doesn’t know the feeling of having something not-quite-right in the closet? The shoes don’t go with the new dress or the striped tie with the shirt…or perhaps you just find there’s NOTHING at all. And of course, it’s an important occasion – and you want to look perfect. Presenting, ready to meet the challenge: the personal shopper Johara Raukamp and the "City Shopper app".

In collaboration with the team of Smart Mobile Factory, a business concept was developed that benefits both users and retailers. On the app, the user will find non-mainstream stores corresponding with his or her tastes and budget, whilst businesses can gain new customers and introduce stores via the app. A free Lite version offers preset shopping tours, which are regularly updated. In the full version, users can customise their own tour.

In addition to a visually appealing design, a cutting-edge filter system was developed for the app, enabling the user to store filters based on their individual needs and to compile their own shopping trips – creating a true ‘personal’ shopper. In addition to designing the app – which was awarded the Red Dot Award – we took control of the design of flyers, a small microsite and the art direction of promotional videos created in collaboration with Evguenia Gostrer and Daniel van West. The app from the Smart Mobile Factory GmbH has been implemented and is now live.
