Clemens Walter is not easily rattled - unless he is confronted with illegible tram maps, poorly signposted airports or the cryptic websites of public authorities. He therefore fights for design that gets the point across - with the deep conviction that a strong concept is the foundation of good design. Both before and after completing his Diploma in Communications Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam, he worked for established communication agencies in Berlin, and also as a freelance designer.
Magdalena Dostal finds that special something in elegance and simplicity, and this approach is reflected in her work ethic as a designer. Predominantly working in print media, she has an eye for detail and the precision of a skilled handcraft-person. After gaining experience in a design agency, she decided to work as an independent freelancer in order to implement projects of a high aesthetic quality in close collaboration with her clients. Magdalena received her Diploma in Communication Design at the Trier University of Applied Sciences and her exchange semester at the École Professionnelle Supérieure d‘Arts Graphiques et d‘Architecture de la Ville de Paris.
Sabine Seifert geb. Sabine Brambach knows the alps as the backdrop of her childhood garden – naturally, complete with “Alpenglühen“ (‘alpine glow’). Now living in exile in Berlin, she has proven herself in various design agencies, from the medium to the large. In addition to possessing a variety of skills in diverse design disciplines, her passion is the conception and design of applications for all digital media, with a particular focus on usability. Sabine holds a Diploma in Communication Design and has studied at the Munich University of Applied Sciences as well as at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Sebastian Manger arbeitet nach seinem Studium als Kommunikationsdesigner seit 15 Jahren freiberuflich. Das Entwickeln von Struktur und Konzepten und das sich daraus ergebende, folgerichtige Gestalten bilden dabei seine Leidenschaft. Mit seinem reduzierten Ansatz, den Worten Bilder zu verleihen setzt er genau den richtigen Fokus. Seine Erfahrungen hat er beim Aufbau und der Betreuung verschiedener Marken gesammelt, wobei ihm sein ständiger Austausch im Team immer neue und zeitgemäße Impulse gibt.
Björn Barnekow loves the challenge of logical thinking. Whether it's new variations of the magic dice from the 3D printer, self-designed origami footballs or simply really great websites, Björn specialises in finding solutions that function. In this case "functionality" means not only making something work technically, but also finding optimal back-end solutions, including the intuitive serviceability of Content Management Systems and the smooth interaction between various components and technologies. Björn has a diploma in Communications Design and has been a passionate programmer for over two decades.
Philipp Zedler hat als Physiker logisches Denken quasi „von der Pike auf“ gelernt. Diese Fähigkeit macht es ihm möglich, als Webdeveloper Projekte konzeptionell und strukturell zu durchdenken, bevor er mit der eigentlichen Programmierung beginnt. Dadurch können wir gemeinsam frühzeitig spezielle Detailfragen mit unseren Kunden besprechen und bestmögliche Lösungen finden. Neben diversen Programmiersprachen beherrscht Philipp (fast) fließend italienisch, da er seit einigen Jahren zwischen Südtirol und Berlin pendelt.
Dipl.-Designerin Carolin Oelsner places a high value on values: hers, and those of others – particularly those of companies with sustainable practices. With 15 years’ experience in agencies and numerous projects for large DAX companies, she consistently approaches graphic design in her own way: developing value-focused messages – instead of advertising slogans – for meaningful products. The special details are at the heart of her design.
Cornelia Altenburg From communicating scientific facts to evoking the flavours an exquisite gin, Cornelia Altenburg finds the right words. Through close cooperation with her clients, she can either develop her own texts, or assist those wishing to develop their own. Cornelia studied history and music in Tübingen, Berlin, Munich and Bielefeld, completing a PhD in history. She gained practical experience in PR agencies and communication departments. She has been living in Berlin since 2015 as a freelance copywriter and writing trainer.
Steven Hille ist Social Media-Experte, Coach, Reise-Journalist, Blogger und NGO-Mitgründer (WeWater). Er hat an der Freien Universität Berlin Publizistik studiert und verbindet aus Überzeugung glaubwürdige Kommunikation mit nachhaltigem Anspruch.
