Bosestraße is situated in the idyllic, green, but centrally located Berlin Tempelhof. Here, the long-time landowners of house number 43 decided to put some of the land and underutilised sheds to use as a new building. For this, they required a building-group that shared the common goals of developing the ecologically ambitious project as well as ensuring the wellbeing of the neighbourhood.
The logo captures this special context with the slogan “surrounded by green – close to the city center”, and presents the character of the construction project through both color and the visual element of an arrowhead. Descriptive 3D renderings of architecture, location maps, floor plans and a clear illustration of the power storage’s attractiveness, demonstrate the potential for future liveability.
Starting with the logo design and slogan, we designed a folder with insert and the construction sign. Editorial supervision before and during the implementation was a key part of this process. We aligned the folder with the layout/location maps, illustrations and floor plans in a uniform design concept. The building shell was completed in October 2014, and completion is scheduled for early summer, 2015.
