With its 160 Goethe Institutes in Germany and abroad, its worldwide network of cultural societies, reading rooms, language learning centers, and exam partners, the Goethe Institute is the world's largest provider of German courses.
In the Goethe Institute's exam department, the Goethe Certificate exams have been paper-based up to now. Starting in 2019, the Goethe Certificate B2 will also be offered in digital format at 19 selected institutes. Appropriate advertising media were designed for the market launch of the new digital offering. The central part of this campaign is an explanatory video/animated film that provides general information and presents the advantages of the new exams in a striking way. We also designed a flyer and a poster.
In line with the Goethe-Institut's corporate design, we worked with our animation film partners (www.bitmapboogie.com) to create a minimalist explanatory and promotional film. Illustrator Thomas Gronle (www.gronle-legron.de) developed a unique, reduced visual language for this film, which is also used in other print media.
